I just got an 08 tC and I am not paying 240 for mats, so. My question is, are the floor mats in the 07 the same as the 08 model?

Undoubtedly. The mats, I believe, have remained the same since the introduction of the tC, at least in respect to the dimensions.

Don't pay the full $240, get cheaper mats somewhere.

Those are the brand I was looking at. I don't know if it's a big rip off or not. I know the mats that I use to have in my 04 elantra got all crusted from the salt and where not very good. These mats are "suppose" to just "clean" right off.

So if anyone has any experience with these, let me know. Otherwise I will just get some regular old mats.
