i installed my cathode light... and like it worked perfect, and now like a week later they dont work. i havetn taked the carpet out to take a look , but what could be wrong

Hmm... he basically answered it. Best thing to do is check the wiring. If you have a voltage tester, test the wires to make sure they are getting power. If they are and everything is connected correctly, then they are done for. Hopefully that helps a bit, let me know how it works out.
