Cathode lighting install question
I just got in my cathodes from oznium.com and their SPDT switch that fits into the knockouts on the dash. Now, why the SPDT(single pole double throw, aka on-off-on) switch? I want to have one side of the switch to turn the cathodes on when the domes are on, then the second to be on when I switch it to that postion. Kinda like the dome lights in the car have the door, off, and on positions. So the question, anyone know of a location in the fusebox that I can tap that triggers when the domes are on? I saw the following post:

Would I use the "All Door Trigger"? I'm kinda confused cause it says the polarity of that is negative. So I don't know if that would work for me, as I THINK I need a positive trigger for the cathodes. Hrmm... Also, if I use that trigger, would the cathodes come on when I unlock the car like the domes do, or will they only come on with the door open?
Thanks!
