Default Cheap Bass? assistance please. thx

Been searching around for awhile and haven't really found anything thats cheap enough to perhaps serve as a stepping stone as i learn more.

Ive been looking at this visonik sub combo.
1. the amp probably isn't that great
2. the sub is questionable
3. wiring quality is questionable

but im still wondering if its good enough to be a daily driver. I don't plan on thumping anything too soon. gf probably would get mad if i did anyhow. just enough bass to get me from place to place.

Have a nice set of logitech 5.1 thx ceritified speakers in my room so i do have a good idea of whats nice. the 5.1 sub is 180 rms and max 280 watts enclosed fully and its enough to shake up the house so im pretty sure whatever this kit give should be good enough for my tastes as i don't turn up my music too loud anyway.

In any case, just wanted to hear a few opinions. Dont really want to spend too much money on sound, just want to get rid of that annoying lack of low end bass. I have sensitive ears soo loud music = nono.

thanks in advance

ive had a bazooka bta10200 powered sub for about 5 months now, and love it. it was 210 on an ebay store. runs off audio signal from ur rear speakers. the only thing i had to buy was an amp wiring kit. the sub is powered by an internal amp. the driver is 10" and has an rms of 200 and max of 400 i believe. only problem is that the stock speakers cant keep up with it to well, but good enough even for highway use.

Try to get the Infinity Basslink. Great stepping stome amp/sub combo. I had it in my old car and it sounds real good for its size.

Just rememebr you pay for what you get. It will work obviously, but for $69, dont expect to have alot of bass, or good sounding bass. Most systems have wiring and connectors that cost more than that.

Buy an Alpine MRP-M450 sub amp and an Alpine SWS-1042D 4ohm+4ohm Subwoofer. Great start and great to add onto
