Default Climate control module replacement

Hi, I have a 2008 tC base and the climate control buttons (Up/down arrow, "off" button, etc...) are not functioning anymore. I've looked into getting a replacement module but can't help but notice all the different part numbers on the back side. Is the part number year-specific? What are the differences between the different versions? How do I know for sure what to order for my vehicle?

Here is an eBay listing. This is what mine looks like. However, I've seen another one with 5590-21090 instead of -211070. This is the part that Im stuck on.

I read somewhere there are two basic modules for first generation tCs. The old module has a "Passenger Airbag" LED and the newer module has a "Passenger Airbag Off On" LED. So your pic shows the newer module. Your 2008, OEM module probably has the "Passenger Airbag Off On" LED.

Your pic also indicates what looks like an immobilizer. Do you have an immobilizer? If so, the one in your pic looks like a match.
