Default Misleading info in latest WantTC email?

OK, so i get the latest WantTC email regarding the new '303 Caliber' cartoon, and find the following info in the details:

Standard cruise control is operated through a short stalk placed behind the steering wheel rim, with set, resume, accelerate, decelerate and cancel functions.
and:

for a special touch, the tC features a solid aluminum temperature adjustment dial.

Haven't gotten my TC yet, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't come w/ cruise control.

I've also seen several posts here on scionlife claiming that the temperature dial is not solid metal (at least for some of you).

Is Scion yanking our chains here?

yea but its not 'SOLID' aluminium. it's some times plastic and sometimes plastic plated aluminium. so yea that is not correct.

I think when it says that the dial is aluminum, they mean just the temperature control dial, and not the whole center console.

As to the original post, its kind of hard to spot the cruise control, even if you have taken one on a test drive. Its behind the steering wheel on the lower right side, near where you put the key in. It comes standard on every tC.
