The temp here droped rather low last night. On my way home I kept feeling a cold breeze on my legs every now and then. It wasn't constant.

It wasn't my a/c as it was off and had the dial turned to the hot side.

Is there a hole in the firewall I'm not aware of?

 

try closing the vent. There is button to recirculate the air in the cabin. Its the one with the rounded arrow inside the car picture. That should do the trick

 

if the direction of the air is set to the windshield, or half windshield half (feet? I can't remember), it automatically turns on the a/c compressor. I wish it didn't, but they do that for "safety" because some idiots (mostly women) don't know how to properly defog a windscreen.

 

Damn! I thought somebody had finally found a way to have cold beer on tap in a tC!
