So i want to paint my waterfall black on the outside and dark gray on he inner part. I bought the flat black and flat gray duplicolor because i don't want a crazy gloss but i also did get a flat clear coat incase anyone was wondering. Just a nice clean, smooth, and slightly shiny, surface like stock. But i was also wondering what the satin colors are? Would they look better than the flat?

 

Satin has a small shine to it. Nothing that will reflect your appearance, but just a little clear to protect the paint.

Well they really do not make a true flat clear anymore,they make a Matte clear,which is close but not quite the same,has a littel shine to it compared to the old flat clear.but it will help protect the pieces a little.

 

go with the matte.. imo..... I did my entire waterfall with the flat black duplicolor camo series. its clean.. I might have to break out and actually camo it just to mess with people.. but its clean as it is

 

okay im gonna test it on something to make sure ilike it... hope i do and it turns out good lol
