I was cleaning my center console and knowticed this connector dose anybody know what this is? im gonna guess I pod lol i haver no clue, hahaaa i did the ? wrong

 

It's not the cig lighter is it, it looks like too many pins

 

i think its the cable that connects to the iPod or Aux in the armrest

 

or maby somthing eles since the AUX plug in my arm rest is working i have no clue but i just feel like im missing out on sumthin

I said wrote under the pic that i messed up and i saved it like that and i couldnt fix it ehhhh so where do i hook this up to so i can take advantage of this new connector lol i also seen a extra connector in the back of the sterring wheel plastic things (the one with the controlls on it) like somthin had to be pluged in thier but no male to go in

 

you first need to hook the other side of that harness into the Scion iPod radio.. and then get the other wiring harness that goes from there into the armrest....

where you use yet another cable that you plug into your iPod.

question though, can you use this at all if you were to get an aftermarket radio? can it be saved like pac has saved the steering wheel controls?
