YES, EXACTLY. Thank you RocetGyrl. You have an ON OFF ON switch. The power is most likely the middle prong and no matter which way you flip it, you will have power since you purchased a switch with no internal LED on it.

 

alright so Upper and Lower positions are ON and they can go to either one of the LED's that i connect the switch to, as for the OFF (center position) thats the +12V source

and the negative from the bulb still goes as ground so just attach it to the chassee somewhere right?

 

well got the switch to work, accept one thing, im using a two prong two position switch, i want to use 3 prong, 3 possition, 2 on and 1 one off....but i want one ON to be for constant on, OFF to be off, and the second ON to be to work with headlights, so as soon as headlights are off, they turn off, and when headlights go on, they go on you know, thanks for the great help with everything up to this point, took me over an hour to put it in the way i want and to get it through the damn door rubber peice between the door and the chasee, that was the longest lol, but other than that, it was worth it cuz it looks hot, thanks for all your help to this point but please help me with that one last thing lol
