DDX-7015 "Disconnected Cable Found"
And now that I've gotten over the flamebait title...
When I turn on my HU, it comes up with the title error message.
- The parking sensor wire is grounded to the ground wire on the small harness.
- The mute wire is not connected
- The power control wire is not connected.
- The Ext. Amp control wire is not connected.
- The ground wire and battery wire on the large harness are not connected (they are connected on the small harness)
Which of these is causing the error message, and where do I connect them?

do you have an aftermarket hu? if that is what it is the ground should be connected directly to the chasis instead of through the harness. The harness ground is very unreliable and likly not even grounded.
Oops. When I say "harness", I mean the jack that goes into the head unit. The harness on the other side of this equation (that comes from the wires in the dash) is a Scosche harness.
And: I connected ALL loose wires (besides the power wires on the large hu harness) to the ground wire on the Scosche harness, and still got the message.
Is there any good point up front to make a new ground wire at?

A good ground that I have found to run wires to is from a bolt behind your sped gauges. It is real ez to get to. I use it for my hardwire on my radar, my led set-up ground, and my radio HU ground.
All you have to do is:
Lower steering wheel and all arms to lowest postion, pull on the dash gauge cover which should pop off easily.
Unscrew one screw that holds in the gauges and pop out the gauges, but be careful there are wires running to them.
then the bolt it right there and it runs directly to chasis via the steering column.
