Default Different MP3 players or stick with the Ipod?

Can you use different mp3 players in your TC other than the Ipod? I was looking into getting either a Sandisk or Zune mp3 player. I don't know for sure if that will hook up through the aux port in my stepdaughter's TC. To me it will be much cheaper to get a Zune or Sandis mp3 player especially since the mp3s' I have now from Morpheus can easily be added to that mp3 player. If I get an Ipod for her, Itunes charges for their songs. I think that's a joke.

if it has a headphone jack on it, you can plug it into the aux port in the tC; the thing is universal. Also, you can easily import songs that you downloaded into the ipod (i use limewire), and you dont have to use the itunes store (i have about 3000 songs and i only bought like 16 cause i couldnt find the CD on limewire), so either way will work fine. i personally went with the ipod because for the size (30 gigs) its the most reliable mp3 i have seen so far, there are millions of accessories for it available, and also if anything goes wrong with it I have the extended warranty and i can take it directly to an Apple store and get it fixed, whereas id had to send it in if it was any other brand. i was against ipods at first too, but over time i realized why they were so great, and why they got so popular

So, I can import the songs from Morpheus to the Ipod? No need for Itunes? One more question, can I continue on downloading Morpheus mp3s into the Ipod?

youd generally need itunes to load it to the ipod (there are work arounds, but its been quite a while since ive messed with them since i have a mac now). the sequence would be something like Morpheus> itunes> ipod. all you would have to do is import the songs you got from morpheus into itunes. then from itunes onto the ipod. i do that right now (download off limewire> load it into itunes> and finally load it to my ipod). hopw this helps
