why don't you make some of it yourself. its not that hard. all it takes is time and patience. it should be similar to making fiberglass parts.

there's quite a few places to get the CF overlays or pieces for the HVAC, i just bought an entire 40 piece CF interior set that has everything for vents, hvac, cup holder area, ect..... there's a guy from i think its NYCmotorsports or something like that that makes it. its like 180$ for the interior

ya that's how i found the guy was on ebay, because i was looking for people on there that made or sold CF as i didnt want to pay 100 just for the hvac, wanted more pieces than that and didnt really have the time/patience to order sheets of CF to make own peices lol

 

i am looking for the carbon hvac not overlay and also looking for the over lay for the top of the dash like firmware used to do

 

Correct me if I am wrong... But isnt the HVAC controls a part of the waterfall... Unless you have some indefinite cash flow, and overlay is the only realistic idea... To have to manufacture a plastic waterfall w/ c/f hvac surround and buttons would be some good $$$...

Overlaying it is just as good as a 100% C/F piece... Its just your stock piece "OVERLAID' w/ 100% REAL C/F and coated with some resin... Its not like it's vinyl or anything...

Maybe I am wrong... If so, sorry!

 

lol the hvac is removable, thers 6 screws on the back, when they are removed take off the AC **** and push it back. overlaying is not as good as a 100% cf pice because overlaying is not really cf and it is a vinyl. look at the Scion Accessory, or any of the CF dash's on ebay, so far there where only 2 CF waterfalls made (REAL 100% CF) that where molds of the stock one, i had one but sold it, and Jay had the other one. good luck getting either one.

Yea Ive only had the car for a month, so dont really know it inside and out... But I personally have overlaid tons of items in C/F... Well only a handful, but it can be done... On my lancer I did my pillars, HVAC panels, etc... And it was with a roll of real C/F... Getting it on, getting some laquer on it, etc... That's true overlaying... Now the whole vinyl thing is another story...

 

well if youre going to use the real CF stuff then yea that works, if you want to make the piece out of CF then its gonna be more costly and difficult.
