Yea making a piece out of C/F is insane... Ive tried but no luck yet...

i working with a guy that does custom CF... once I see how good the quality is I will post up his info.

 

Ive done my pillars in C/F Kevlar fabric... Came out okay, but gonna redo this week when my vacuum bagging stuff comes in... It will allow me to pretty much overlay anything, as it will be pulling a vacuum to mold the fabric to the items... Will also help me out in making molds for custom stuff... I'll post some pics of the pillars w/ one layer of resin... Didnt like how some of the edges came out so never finished... Just gonna bag em and start over...

It'd have to be a 2 piece probably, but I can look into it...

 

Oh, and are you talking about a complete floor cover pretty much?... Just to make sure we're on the same page...

Okay, that's what I had figured... Let me take a look at it, and see what I can do...

 

im thinking prob two piece with one whole peice coming from driver side coveringwheel well and a hinge cause im getting the ed sub box give me a ball park figure im debating on carbon or fiberglass but since i got carbon everywhere it makes better sense . plus if you make it you know they will come im willing to be the guinea pig

 

Gotcha... Is the ED box the same dimesions as that foam piece? Just so I can figure where to hinge it...
