Does this audio setup look right?
Well I'm pretty bored at work right now, so I pulled out the trusty ol' MSPaint and drew up a skeleton of what I want my audio setup to be like.

I have THIS HU, and I'm going to be purchasing eD components (click), an 8" eD sub (click), and an eD amp (click). I plan to run the rear speakers off of the HU; no one sits in my backseats anyway, so I don't really feel I need to power them off the amp.
I've never wired something like a car audio system before, so ...is this correct?

^^^not necessarily.... If you're looking for accurate imaging and staging, you'll only want front speakers period....no rears at all.... CD and Radio(FM or SAT) are stereo recordings(stereo being 2 channel)....in order to reproduce them most accurately, you only need 2 speakers(or components) installed correctly....
A large majority of SQ competitors only use a front left and right channel....
Edit:
If you're just the average joe who wants a little extra sound and doesn't have any clue what I was just talking about, go ahead and amp the fronts and rears...

Bump. Springtime is coming, so it's time to go over what I might need for a decently nice system.
Would the Nine.2 be enough to power both components and the sub? Or should I get one amp for each?

^^ a 2 channel amp is only enough for components or substage... you'll need 2 NiNe.2's for that system... one to run the 9Kv.2 (needs to be dual 2 ohm coil) @ 4ohm and one to run both sides of the component system...
You COULD just get one NiNe.4 to run the components AND sub, but then the sub would only be getting 150watts...

everyone also needs to realize... everyones ears are different.. and everyones prefferences to music and how it sounds are different... some people like thier highs REALLY bright... others like lots of bass.. some none at all.. the best way to desgin your system is to decide what sounds good to you...

Nine.4 + 6500s + 9Kv.2 works just fine in a tC imo....not that I would have done that or anything
Bump from the dead. I have money (read: a shiny new credit card) now so I'm ready to start pulling stuff together in the coming months.
I'm looking at the edesignaudio site and there's a deal going on right now for the Nine.4 and a 9Kv.2 (dual two) in a package, so I might start there. Then, I'll pick up the 6000s with some baffles for the fronts.
...what kind of wiring kit should I use? I have a bajillion feet of speaker wire here in my garage from my dad's previous installations. And I'd really like to keep the whole "red accents" thing going on in my car, so a red power wiring kit would be ideal.
