I looked in the TECH section for a write-up and I saw no indication of one.
The XB section has a thread describing how you can fabricate your own filter and photos of how to install one in the tray behind the glove box.
Does the TC have a CABIN AIR FILTER TRAY?
Does the TC come with a filter in that tray?
There are a few new TC's in my hood so I would like to know.

yes there is a tray.
no there is not a filter in the tray.
you have to fabricate one if you want one, its the same idea as the xB one, but cut it to fit the tC.

 

^^ yup... unless you wanna fork over alot of cash at the dealership..... which uhm.. neah...

i'll stick to making my own.

 

eh...only cost me like $15 at the dealer...slightly discounted tho, i forgot what list price was

 

but i think its like $5 for a big sheet, that you can make multiple filters out of. .lol

Hears the part #TOY-88568-52010. It’s the cabin air filter for the XB that shares the same filter tray as the Tc’s. I’ve been using this for the last 2 years, work just fine.
