Default doing the LED swap got a question

hey im int he process of doing the LED swap and i got all the LEDS swapped and i went to test t in my car... the only LED's that came on where the 2 for the screen but not the gauges... havnt put the guage cluster back together but im jsut wondering why only the screen lights would come on (i went threw all the illumination settings)

ugg so i tried to replace some LED's and now one of the solder pads has been removed on LED 29 what does that pin connect to so i can patch it >.< uggg

you probably fried some LEDS and since they work in a circuit, one dead led could make the other 5 or 6 in that circuit to not work as well. Use a multimeter to test each LED individually. This way you can localize your problem and hope you only have a few dead leds and not all of them!

whats the best way to test an LED? i have a DMM just not sure how to test them... i got a few on yay

yeah its multi meter is the best way to check if they are installed correctly or not. good luck
