which double din headunit has the best ipod interface
I'm trying to decide whether on which headunit to get between then Alpine IVA-W200, kenwood ddx7017, pioneer AVH-P6800DVD, or the eclipse stereo. Major selling point for me is which has the best and fastest ipod interface. I dont need nav so the eclipse one looses points right there and i love the fact that the pioneer has a 6 disc dvd changer but its also alot more so my question is. to all the guys who have any of the stereos: Hows the Ipod interface on your stereo. thank you in advance

W200 - Hands Down.... Had a pioneer, it sucked, the Alpine is FAST, works just like your iPod and you can scroll through all your music in seconds... the interface is what won it for me as well... (and cheap for the cable too)

The Alpine's iPod screen looks... okay. But the lack of dual-zone was the killer for me. IMO, any DVD source unit must have that capability.
The display on the Kenwood reminds me of the the CD Player interface from the original Playstation. Only with less inspired graphics. No dual zone.
The Pioneer has the biggest screen and best graphic display of the lot, but no dual zone.
Panasonic's interface is almost as good as Pioneer's (and it costs several hundred dollars less), the iPod interface is cheap, and it has dual zone. I think it's the best of the low-buck double-din offerings. If I were buying today, I'd still buy the Clarion. Screw the stupid radio door, I want a good looking interface, dual-zone, and AUX video in.
