Default Double din suggestions, please ?

i am looking to replace my OEM radio unit with something not too expensive that
can accommodate a portable music player (e.g. ipod) without any extra cables.

any suggestions, please ?

also, is there any additional equipment needed for these aftermarket units. this
will be professionally installed. thanks.

Pioneer double din (very nice unit)
Amazon Amazon

Ipod Cable (needed for any aftermarket integration but just one cable):
Amazon Amazon

Dash Kit (Necessary to fit OEM dash properly):
http://www.dealercostcaraudio.com/metra95-8202.aspx

Wire Adapter (So you don't cut any factory wires at all):
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SCION...mZ200565183418

Then take these parts to an installer and they'll do the rest.

Yeah clarion is nice too. I just like Pioneer because it's the OEM brand and they look so clean. It's merely a preference because they are both good products. I just installed that very same setup in a friends 09 TC and the built in bluetooth works awesome. So crystal clear and easy to set up. Also the bypass is super easy

It doesn't take long. Just snip off most of the plastic on the kit and put the screws back in.

The radio you choose is up to you based on your budget. All double din units are going to require a dash kit but the one you linked was for a single din head unit. Make sure you get the one for a double din.
