Default e-brake boot question

I just purchased the custom e-brake boot from shift style and I was wondering if anyone has had any encounters with their products (which are awesome by the way) and what was the best way of putting the e-brake boot on?

I used a good glue from home depot......it was like Handymans epoxy from Loctite or something......over a year and boot is still solid to the panel.

I would assume that a two part epoxy will hold up as long as you want it to. Many are made to bond different materials together, even wood to metal.

The stuff I used took about 24 hours to become solid and strong.....

I used Loctite epoxy. Worked well. Just be sure not to start ripping on your e-brake within 12 hours of application like my girlfriend did. Yeesh that was a mess.

Granted, my e-brake boot is from redline goods, but I didn't need to use anything to hold it in place. For the shift boot, yes. E-brake boot? The rubber gasket for the e-brake itself, works wonderfully to keep the boot on.

Thanks for the feedback.

For those of you who used epoxy/glue... did you remove the rubber fitting that is already in place in order to secure the e-brake cover?
