Well i got both coming and it says that the 5500 has limited IPOD control??

Does this mean just like next song previous??? Can you fast forward???

Eclipse IPC-106 is the part number for the Ipod conector.

also im gettig the new NAV-DVD some say it updated your head unit a little also,maybe that would help out the Ipod also???

 

I don't know for sure, but i've heard from tons of people that the ipod control for the unit is garbage. If you dont need to be charging it, I would just hook it up to the unit with an mini-to-rca cable and not worry about any of those issues.

 

man! thats my mian music player,I onl have like 20 cds.
I guess ima have to burn all my mp3s on to a cd.

As long as the Ipod plays and goes forward and back im fine with it
