Default Eclipse Steering Wheel Controls - NO PAC Adapter

For those of you who are like me and wanted to put in an aftermarket HU (w/o dvd or nav), eclipse has put out information on how to set up the steering wheel controls without using the expensive PAC adapters. This isn't for other units like pioneer, etc, but i've done this with my eclipse cd3000 and it works perfectly.

Here are the documents:

http://www.e-iserv.jp/na/download/st...te%20Table.pdf

http://www.e-iserv.jp/na/download/st...-3000-4000.pdf

If you want the sw control file that they are refering to there, go to the www.e-iserv.jp website and login and you can download it there and view all of these files.

Now we can all (less the 05s) have sw controls with great audio! Enjoy!

most of us know about the eclipse units not needing pac adapters... and no need for wiring harnesses..

Yea, i've had my eclipse in for a few months now without the adapter, but I just wanted to put a thread out there for people who are first starting the project and are doing a search. This way everything is in one place. Plus, I hadn't seen those documents before, they would've been helpful when I was doing it! lol
