Default ED NINe.5 LPL Remote

today my NINe.5 arrived and in the box is a LPL Remote **** thing and a phone wire.........what is it for..........I searched and really am not sure what the heck it really does.........could someone please explain for me what it does.........this old man could really use the help on this........thanks.........

The amp is huge much bigger in person than I thought it was gonna be..........

I am not 100% positive but if that amp is anything like my nine.1 then that is your remote gain ****. lpl= low pass level.

Thanks Will........that is kinda what I thought..........so I should be able to shut off the bass with it if needed..........and set my levels with it on so no clipping.........does that sound right..........

Set your gains properly without hooking up the remote. After you have your gains set correctly then you can plug in the gain ****. With the **** you will not be able to exceed the level that you set on the amp... think of it as a safety. If that makes any sense.

agreed or what you can do is set the **** on max and plug it in then set the gains that way as well, but it is for the sub channel

Thanks guys.........it is nice to have a definate answer that makes sense ..........I was fairly confused as to what to do with it and have already spent a lot of hours online figuring out everything so I did not screw it up and this **** through me off......thanks for the PM Will......I printed it up to use when i install......

It will be a couple of months till I am complete withthe install but I will post up pictures in a timeline.........the amp is going in the back floor........somehow........LOL.......withthe spare and jack still there as well.......gonna be a tight fit and my router is gonna hate me.........
