Default edead or damplifier.. thinking damplifier

ok so i just read the reading on http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/.. and edead didn't do nearly as well as i would have liked to have seen. I am starting to think i should go with damplifier. Since i travel in 3 month blocks for my job, i could be in arizona or nevada heat for months or i could be in northern maine winters for 3 months.. i want something that isn't going to melt off or crack off from cold..

so is anyone running damplifier

Firtst, the edead on that site is old stuff and is not availilbe so its not accurate.

I used 2 layers of damplifier on my doors and it made a big differance.

I also used some edead v1.2se on my floors *the new stuff that is butly based*

You can tell as soon as you open the box that the damplifier is better, it is thicker and you can tell its just a better product.

The damplifer can take heat like no other. I fully did my BMW in damplifer and it took the Texas heat like a champ. No sign of the damplifer even tring to come off.

I know its about 2-3x the price but its worth it. You might call them and ask them if they have a sale going on.
Awhle ago they had like a 20% off sale.

any more questions just ask

i know it is good priced but i damn sure don't want it melting off my doors in the summer heat... it got so hot in my car before i tinted my windows that it screwed up some of my electronics... which i am dark tinted now but still i plan i owning my car for a while and when i get something different i am just going to keep the tc for a toy and i want the mat to last with the car

yea, edead should hold up to the heat though. http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/ele...heat_video.php

i doubt your door panel or any panel in the car will get to over 450 degrees.

There is also eDead UE now, which is thicker than the v1SE2. If you don't mind the work and want to save money you can just do multiple layers of eDeadv1SE2. Forum discount price is $1.28/SQFT whereas UE is $3.50/SQFT. I've got 2 layers of v1SE2 only in the hatch floor & walls and it made an incredible difference in road noise.

the rear quarter panels are where most of the road noise seems to come from. there and also the doors. i did my doors already, the rear quarter panels are next in my deadening journey.
