Default Elemental Designs NINe.2x amp & Alpine digitals

I just got one of these pretty cheap on eBay.

I'm curious about how many people are using this amp and what they think about it.
How does it compare?

------

Also, does anyone have experience with those Alpine digtals amps? The PDX line...
I'm thinking about getting one of those to power my mids/highs.

ED makes good products......lots of people here use their product.....in general they are underrated in power advertised......I have all ED components and the NINe5 and NINe4 for my amps in my cars........the NINe 5 is rated at 600w@1 Ohm onthe sub channel......but many peopl using it are finding it pushes a lot more than that.....around 800w when tuned properly.......good product.....

Awesome. I can't wait to get it in. I'm torn between using a pair of ED SQ10 subs or a pair of the Pioneer Premiums.

Which ED components do you have and how do they sound?

I'm running the Alpine PDX-1.1000 and I love every bit of it!

The SQ10s are good speakers,a little under powered....I just bought a Pair of IDQ10s last night to replace mine......for a good filler bass the SQ10 works great, but it really does not have that big sub sound.I have only heard one Pioneer Premeer shallow mount and it sounded better and seems to me it handles more watts.

I have front and rear Ed6000s in my car......they just released their new component speakers last month or so and renamed and dropped the price onthe 6000s......good speakers.
