Default Elemental Designs system concept

It seems like Elemental Designs is getting lotsa props, so I'm thinkin of giving them a try with the following set-up. I'm hopin Mandos takes a peek at this and gives me his thoughts.
1 eDi 6500s system for the fronts
2 Eu-700 subs for the rear panel
2 13Kv.2 Subs in a custom box

The box is gonna be the trick, and where I need Mandos' help. (I may have to drop to 10s, but would rather not). The plan for the box is to have it flat mounted in the rear. Similar to AzureSky's set up:

But I want the subs and amps flush mounted and be able to be covered (stealth mounted. Should I got with fiberglass of MDF. I'm thinkin of emailing Elemental Designs to see if they can build it.

Ironically I'm working on a Dual 10" box that'll replace the spare perfectly. Can't really do 2 12's w/o raising the floor height. Mounting depth issues.

Looks like your floor was raised a bit...if I knew how much, I might very well be able to make something like that.

As for the 700's in the back, ditch them. Unnecessary. Unless you like rear fill, then I say go w/ come components or something back there. Midbass + behind you = sounds horrible.

K, so no 700s...I might put the 6000s (or just leave the stockers) back there then ( I like rear fill, but not a lot).

Now, nooby box building question: Does the box need to be square? I'm thinking no, but I'm not sure.

As far as floor height, I'd say that the sub box is about an inch below the edge of the hatch and the cover piece (the carpeted piece) comes up flush with the edge.

Oh, and this is in Azuresky's tC. I'm trying to get some more details from her, I just have to ask the right questions

so the revised list is:
1 eDi 6500s system for the fronts
2 eDi 6000s (or just the stockers) for the rear panel
2 13Kv.2 Subs in a custom box
1 Nine.2x for the subs
1 Nine.4 for front & rears

Typically for subwoofer boxes, you can make it almost any shape you want. Because of the frequencies that are produced by subwoofers, box shape isn't as important as it is for higher frequencies.

Well, 1 set of 6000s

The new ones are a coax mount = awesome.

Of course, cheaper would be leave them stock, get a Nine.2 to do the fronts, and leave the rears on deck power....this is what I normally suggest.

Yeah, weird, I suggest you give me less money

I could probably design something like that for a box...would just need to find a more stock tC hatch. The one we have here that isn't mine has about 1/2" of eDead on it...it's quiet

Aye, one set of 6000s, I'll have to edit that
that reminds me...I need to get more eDead. v3 worked pretty good, but I think I'll lay down some v1SE or the new v4 stuff.

Too bad you are in Iowa, I'd drop of the tC right now if I weren't in Cali.
