Default Finally did my gauges!

After a month of research and help with engifineer, I finally converted my gauge cluster to blue! I have experience with electronics and soldering so the project was pretty easy once I figured my own technique for removing and resoldering those tiny surface mount leds! Here is how it turned out:

From a design standpoint, Orange and Blue are direct opposites. Theory goes that colors across from eacother are a pleasing combination to the eye. The more exactly paired they are, the more pleasing the 'match.'

And that's the fun, useless fact for the day.

Looks good!

Yes, this is true SquallLHeart did help me, its true... its true! I will try and get bigger pictures, not sure why they were so small! I didn't do my hvac or door panels yet, I just did the steering wheel controls and that turned out nice too!

Lol, yea, I didn't even notice. There is no indicator lights on, or odometer display.

I did that for a customer last week. I'll see if I can get some pics for you.

As for the odometer it is also blue, it looks really sweet. Some blue odometers I saw were really dull but the leds for the odometer make the lcd look really bright. The reason there are no indicator lights or odometer is because the car is not on, I just turned on the lights to take the pics. Only the gauges and lcd are blue, I left all indicator lights stock because I think it looks too tacky with EVERYTHING blue!

I did mine in Blue with white LCD's a month or so ago and it turned out great! Havent gotten to the HVAC yet, but all in due time. Here are some pics. First is right after the install, decided to do the turn signals in white and everyone loves it.

Just took this pic, this is after my buddy and I custom installed my sirius starmate. Used the little tray below the aftermarket headunit and it turned out pretty good, still need to get it all trimmed up tho. All the blue in the car goes really well with the white outside and the blue streetglow.

sry for the pic, its blurry...
One last one of just the headunit...
