i have a 05 tc and this came in my car out of the dealership. my question is has anyone replaced the subwoofer and amp and used this encloser and found a nice setup? i noticed that only shallow mount speakers will fit in this box. also, i heard that the box is to small to get any decent bass out of it. is that true?

 

i think that the subwoofer in general wasn't meant to hit that hard. my sister's rockford fosgate stock sub in her lancer hits harder and its stock with the bass turned all the way down. the bazooka subwoofer starts to loose its sound quality the more you turn it up.
