I would like to know in your opinion if the fact sub sounds good if you have it or had it? A older man asked me if I would be interested in buying the one out of his daughters wrecked tC. He said it had 4000 miles on the car when she hit three deer on the hwy and the insurance comp let him get the sub out. She now has a Solara and her dad is asking 200 for it. Good deal yes or no? I have a 12" Pioneer premier sub in a sealed box and a punch 40 already. Should I keep what I already have or get the fact sub.Help please.

 

The sub sounds pretty good to me, doesn't get real low, but is good enough for me. I'll probably get a better one eventually, but its cool for now. Your setup right now probably hits harder and lower than the factory sub though.

If you already have a non-OEM sub - don't bother. The OEM one is NOT great. For the price the want (and even $200) you can do better. I got mine used for $100 and would never pay more than that for it.

Some day I'd like to gut it and put in a real speaker and amp... but as it is, it's not fantastic.
