Default Factory Subs

Does anyone know if these are good?

I have an 05 tC and my dad found a sub at the junkyard which he took home for me. Oh i have the 05 stock deck too.

All i need is that wire... I have no idea what it is so if you do know please tell me.

And also, is that all you need? There's an amp already in there?
Just plug in and your good to go?

It's OK for what it is.... a 6" stock sub. (or is it 6.5"?)

It's without question much better than NOT having it.... and depending on your needs, it might suit all of them.

There should be an amp attached to the sub. It's a small box about the size of 1/2 a VHS tape. The woofer is wired to the little amp. If you really poke around SL there might be some wiring info. Not really worth the effort, IMO.

If he has a 05, then it's probably the VSE Bazooka 10" sub that mounts to the side of the trunk.

Dealer can probably order that wiring part for you. I say probably because it has been discontinued. There are people selling that subwoofer online, but I doubt they have just the wire for sale.

good luck to you, man.

Yeah oceaner is right, I have the Bazooka 10" subs and it seems there an amp in there.

Just wondering if the quality is worth the time looking around for a wire. Cause somebody told me is wasn't so great. Just getting more opinions.

Better than non-sub?

^ Yes, MUCH better than "non-sub"! It's enough for some people, but not a "bass-head". Certainly a major upgrade over having no sub at all, and worth finding the wiring for, especially since you got the sub free. Give it a try, as you can always upgrade later if you find it's not enough.

You should check out TRD Sparks. i think you're looking for this: http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...&parts_id=1065

And i have the factory sub and its enough for me. I mean more bass would be better, but as stated before its better than nothing.
