Looks real nice, what is that head unit, that is kind of what I am looking for to match my new blue interior! =)

I believe the HU is the Sony Explode CDX800 or something like that. Used to have one in an old car of mine.

Just took this pic, this is after my buddy and I custom installed my sirius starmate. Used the little tray below the aftermarket headunit and it turned out pretty good, still need to get it all trimmed up tho. All the blue in the car goes really well with the white outside and the blue streetglow.

sry for the pic, its blurry...
One last one of just the headunit...
Nice.... Now you gotta change your heating console unit. It's pretty tricky if you're changing it to blue though.

Yea, the headunit is about 3 years old, but it works out great with the blue theme. Its got all I need - mp3, aux, and sounds a lot better than the factory HU. Its a Sony Xplod 850mp or something like that, pretty close aandf. I knew that the sirius unit would go pretty well with it all, a little tricky to get it mounted in there, lots of drilling and cutting plastic, ganna get a trim kit to clean it up a little, the stormtrooper is doing an ok job of keeping it hidden a little. THe HVAC is soon to come, it does totally kill me to still see all that orange in that area, but in due time. I am thinkin of installing some white LED's behind the sirius unit to give it some effect......

Have you gotten to your HVAC lights svc? Ganna do them in all blue as well?

Yeah, I did gauges, door panel, steering wheel control, and hvac. However, I am having a slight problem with the hvac unit with not all of the leds working. I am going to troubleshoot further on tuesday to see if I can figure it out.

When I get to my HVAC I was planning on doing the LCD in white and the buttons in blue like I did the gauges. But with all the blue screens there, it may be better to flip that around...? And also, when you do the LCD in white, do you have to do the resistor fix? or is that just for blue?

thx, it feels good to get some praise for my DIY work. The real thx goes to everyone on this site that helps us all out so much in all the little things they let us know about our rad car. Kudos!

Does anyone think that I should go with a blue LCD for my HVAC insted of blue to go with the radio blue screens? I think white looks better because its clearer and easier to read.. but any opinions?
