I agree with the other installer. I would never cut holes in the dash....it will affect resale value and not the most optimum placement. You can't compare amateur work to a professional DLS show car. DLS is a very high end speaker company with a big budget and my guess is they only let the best in the business put together their cars.The dash will not be even close to $125 from the stealership, $1000 is more like it. If I were to do a 3-way setup , i would have the tweeter and midrange in the kicks and midbass in the door. to each his own, ultimately its your car and money....have fun with it

I would agree with except that it snows where I live and I'm trying desperately to avoid getting my expensive stuff all gunked up. I'm clearly not concerned with re-sale value of the car. I will have it for 3 1/2 more years at a minimum and I want to enjoy my music. I think this has been the best thing I've done to the car next to sway bars. I actually feel like I'm listening to music on a normal stereo, not a car stereo.
