I'm waiting on my next check. Upholstery shop isn't available until late October to do the dash. I think I have something planned that no one's done yet. (Or atleast hasn't been done often enough for anyone to have seen it).

as soon as my parent's garage is available im redo-ing the angle of the 2 mids on the dash. I made some adjustments to make the stage better but the vocals are still slightly biased towards the side nearest the speaker. i think i know how to fix this just need some space.

i guess it's good i got sensitive to the downfalls of the setup before i finalized it. i knew i would i just didn't know how long it would take. i've also ordered some 8" midbasses for the doors that i'll be working on, hopefully this weekend. the front stage should really pound then.

Thanks. I've also finished up the tweeter positions. The pic below is before I cleaned it up a bit and I'll clean it up some more before the pillar/headliner gets done. As you can see from the earlier pics I've tried a few things. Angle mounter, flush, and then glassed. The glassed version is best version for staging and imagining that I've come up with.

 

Also worth noting, when I redo the dash I'm going to make it blend with the pillars a little bit better than it is now.

ya that's how i roll lol. actually the real problem was the 'rents were renevating and the garage was filled for months so i didn't have a place to redo the dash. now its too cold so it's probably going to sit until spring. not to mention i have no money to get upholstery done now with xmas coming...
