I tried the search function, and it came out with eveyrthing but flip out units lol, I like the Avid D3 but personally I like the look of a flip out unit instead, anyone have any suggestions of a good flip out unit with iPod (can use the wire that came with our 08 tcs), GPS, DVD, CD? Also if anyone has pics, thanks.

 

Why would you get a flip out when our car has a double din slot?? That just makes no sense. It would look worse with the big empty space below your single-din flip out.

In all fairness, there's lots of single-DIN stuff you can put under a single-DIN head unit.

That being said, would a flip-out HU actually work in our cars? I would think that there would be clearance issues, especially if you don't remove the door.

 

i've seen pictures of flipouts in our cars but I would stick to doubledin its much sexier

also wanted to add my buddy had some flip out in his civic and the stupid motor in it died then it wouldn't flip open it was quite funny

 

flip outs dont work in the tc because the radio cover sticks out to much. ive even took the door off and messed around to see if i could make it look good but without some real modifications its definetly not something a rook should be doing!!!!!!
