has anyone flush mounted their aftermarket navigation system? Im sorta tired of the door. It rattles too much over rough roads...makes the car sound like a piece of crap.

Please no "door is good for security..etc" I dont care...I have tinted windows and you cant see ____ from the outside......I just wanna see some pics of how and what people did.

that looks good but a radio door helps keep a navi hidden.

 

that looks cool. wish they had that when I put my double din in. I might have to look into this, my damn door squeaks alot.

 

yeah i know it keeps it safe...but the squeaking and rattling drives me nuts...really makes the car sound like a piece of ____. when i close the radio door, my car sounds solid, no creaks, no cheap sounds but once it flips up...its annoying and embarassing

 

I like the scion one better....

 

^ i do as well but if you notice in this picture it only goes across the top because the actual navigation is wider so if you have a smaller one like mine you would be left with gaps on the sides so that's why i chose the one i did.

 

yeah the OEM navi isnt a true doubledin size...

 

There's a fix for this. I remember reading about it in the tC's FAQ.
