Default Found a 6"sub that would make a good&cheap replacem

i have a 08 and ive been thinking about replacing the stock 6" sub it self with something that has a little more power but nothing crazy just something to give it more bump with out blowing the stock box up lol

i found this 150rms 6" sub it only has a 2.89 depth so it should just slide right in not to mention its dirt cheap coming in at under 10 bucks at most places
http://www.gooddeals18.com/product/PW677X?meta=FRG

i figure even running it with the stock amp it would sound better due to a more efficient design.. but i was thinking of getting a tiny amp that would power the new sub.

so whats a good cheap amp that will power this thing and still have decent sq?
i was also wondering do you think the stock wiring can handle the 150rms or should i run a new line?

im just trying to figure out a way us guys with 08's can get a bit more bump with out having to spend a few hundred bucks
what do you guys think?

I say dont even waste your time.

If space is an issue get the ED slimmount sub with the enclous for the tC. it will take up no room above the carpet.

If you have some hatch room get a 8" sub in a small sealed box.
If you have a little more do a 10"

how many watts you guys think the stock enclosure can handle? the ED one is the same size and can handle 300rms . so would this sub be to much?

id like to see a link to this kicker sub...

i gotta be honest....you're wasting your time and money on this one. the improvements will be negligible. if you want an improvement and you want to stay small....get an 8, put it in a small box, and be happy. 6.5's were not meant for "real" bass.

I agree. Dont waste your time with this. Get a solid 8 or 10 and call it a day. Will see much better improvements.

the only place i'd install a 6" sub is on my ___, and that gets in the way too much.

I'm running a 350 on the stock wiring until I get the other wires run... it's working fine, I can't imagine you'd have any problems with something a third the size... I'm running an infinity 10" sub and an alpine amp.
