Default found A good alternitive to the D3 (no nav)

http://mobile.jvc.com/product.jsp?mo...hId=133&page=1

Has alot of good specs. About 200-300 dollars cheaper dependinon where you shop.

Has 7 band eq. 3 5volt preouts, sd card, (and the part I like the best) Time Alignment

anyone have this unit???

I know I might get flamed but...... I've heard alot of people say that JVC and Eclipse are made buy the same build house???? The JVC's I have had were always great. The last one I had was "El Kameleon" the one that was all black when you turned it off. It was great

Looks good, but at that price, save a bit more for a navi plus a free $250 rear view cam at crutchfield

That does look like a good value. I found it in a few seconds for $534 shipped.

I would prefer it with the nav. Thats really one of the most important things for me.

the D3 does play ipod video actually. what you have to do though is control the video through the ipod. its nice when you have a ton of videos on your own ipod...

I wonder what the folder navigation is like via the USB port. I've heard plenty of horror stories for other units like the AVIC D3, but I haven't heard anything about any of the JVC units. Anyone know?

eh just get the Valor NVG - 670WT.... Ipod connection, Bluetooth, nav, cd, dvd, TV tuner... all included for like 1150-1500 depending on where you get it... plus you can upgrade it when it goes out of date.

JVC is actually pretty good on my list. its around the same level as kenwood imo (not one of my top three choice of brands to go with but still pretty good). and that deck looks pretty cool, despite not having nav. iono bout valor though.. havent heard much good about them.. but the JVC is pretty cool imo.

I have a question...why doesn't anyone ever recommend the one that i have? It's a Jensen but i love it! It came with an iPOD cable that i plug in through my armrest and it's a touchscreen. I don't think i've ever seen anyone with this unit.
