found this on my driver side mat, any clue to where it may go? i looked up under the steering column and pedals and have no clue?

 

Doesn't look like anything that belongs in the car. Maybe you picked it up from outside or dropped it in your car?

 

not positive because its been a while since ive seen them and i think the heads may be different but open the top portion of the armrest and look at the back part. There should be two screws holding it together that are about that size.

 

ya thats what i was thinking, maybe i stepped on it with my sandal and brought it in... i just checked the armest areas and all the screws are already in..

 

the only other ones i can think of are the one that go underneath the steering column but you said you already checked there.

Its only 1 screw anyways, i wouldnt worry about it.

 

ya your right, and most likely it just got embedded in the bottom of my flip flop from outside somewhere and then came off on the floor mat
