Default Front passanger speaker

HEllo again,

I am going 2 replace my front speakers 2marrow with new ones, and i realized that my front left 1 isnt working? i dont know for how long or what not... but i just happened to be by the door and realized it wasnt working. You think i blew the speaker? fuse? or is the wiring just off? Im hoping when i replace the speaker it will work, but we will see i havent gotten that far yet just planning ahead.

I tried the power locks on the pass. door and they worked, so power is getting to that door.

I would trace the wiring back first... if the speaker was "blown" trust me you would definitely know.... being in the door.. it could be a loose connection or a kinked wire. I would say that would be the most likely cause for it not working.

Get rivits out with window up,new sharp drill bit,NEW and Sharp, wrap bit about half inch up with electrical tape,a good 20 feet of it so you have a nice thick stopper on bit,and drill, the rivits are very soft and drill right out.

You dont have to do all that. Just get a 3-4 inch drill bit. And have the windows up.

did you unplug your tweeters? I probably sound stupid , but I just figured out a couple days ago that they were connected. I was making a new speaker bracket and my tweeters sound like crap! I unplugged it, everything went silent on the side. had to unhappily plug it back in
