Front speaker install
Im planning on installing a set of Infinity Kappa Perfects 6.1 Component speakers in the front. I bought a baffle set from E Design Audio (which i can't find now on their website...) but apparently my friend threw it out <_<. Annoying. So im getting stuff installed into my car on friday/saturday probably and was wondering that i'd absolutely have to have the MDF baffles right to mount the Kappa Perfect speakers? On CarDomain, they list the Top Mount Depth as 2.625, was wondering whether is that too big or just right ? Also, my rear speakers are the Infinity 3-way 63.7i which Top Mount Depth is 2.19

well unless you wanna mount them to your door! Just order another pair or make some yourself?

i would say dont install rear speakers since your getting components up front, you wont hear the rears at all! Leave the stockers in!

If you've got a jigsaw and about 45 minutes of free time, you can make your own baffels. Just use the removed speaker/baffel combination as your tracing template and you're set. There are also some baffel templates floating around here including one I made in Illustrator.
