You open the fuse box and read to see which fuses in it are for what... and then you pull them out, and if need be, replace them...

Or, attempt the same fix that I told to Big_Bird in another thread, set your car on fire

Most owner manuals have a section in the back called an Index. This is like the search function on an internet forum. You look up your subject using a keyword. It is alphabetical so you would look under F for fuses. Usually that takes you to a page telling where the different fuse boxes are located in a vehicle and maybe even a list of fuses and functions, or sometimes they include another page number that lists the fuse number and its current rating in amperes, (think of it as clicking on a link to find out more information), once you find this information you need to decipher the diagrams and charts to figure out what fuses you need to start looking at. Think about what systems in the car aren't functioning and start with fuses related to them. Ex. cigarette lighter plug doesn't work, check for a fuse specifically linked to that circuit, in the manual, find fuse in car, remove fuse, if the W or V or Z shaped piece of metal inside the colored plastic case is broken, burnt or melted looking it is probably blown. You could also use a Digital Multi-meter to check for continuity but you should without a doubt be able to visually see if the fuse is broken/bad/blown by looking at it. After you find your bad fuse, replace it with one OF THE SAME current rating and type. Ex. If it says 10A on it (usually red casing) replace it with ONLY A 10A fuse. If you are continually blowing a fuse on one circuit it might indicate a problem with devices connected to the circuit which then requires trouble shooting to broad to cover on an internet forum. Good luck.
