gas meter messed up

Default gas meter messed up

i did a led swap on my gauges and hvac an a needle color change everything went ok except my gas meter say i have more gas than it did before, like the needle excedes the number 1 by like a few cm so how can i fix this

Well, it will exceed 1/1 if it is completely filled. But if it really sounds off, you need to remove the needle and reinstall it to align it. It should sit at the same zero spot as the temp gauge, and it should zero about where the gas warning light is. Just take it off, put it on partially at max and spin it the other way till it is in the right zero spot, then press it the rest of the way on.

it exceeds it ore than it did before but ya i did reinstall and it was fine until i refilled gas the next time it exceeds it again so what should i do now

It wasnt aligned properly. The motor will only turn so far. when you press the needle on slightly at max position, and start turning it backward, you should feel the spindle stop at some point, so you are just spinning the needle on the spindle. When it is pretty much right in the middle of the fuel warning light, press it the rest of the way down. But it will always exceed full when you fill the tank completely.
