well, the car is not boosted, so the gauges are purely for show. Youre 100% right about constantly looking over at them if the car was boosted.
They are not something I want on the a-pillar. I don't want to give a thief another reason to look into my car.

they are prosport gauges. very good quality and very accurate for the price.
Its an AFR (narrow band), Voltmeter, and Digi tachometer.
Like i said, all purely for show.
