Nope just power off the AVIC-D3
It is a little quieter than the stock speakers but I there is not distortion though. Still doing a little research on tweeters.

The amp I might go with the kicker sx700.4 since it has onboard dsp but no T/A though. It will serve as a temp solution until I can afford something like the RF 3Sixty.2.

Going to deadend the doors in the spring when it starts to get warm again.

 

Duct Tape has a lot of uses! Anyways.. looks good.. I plan to do mine soon.

 

You should see when people duct tape their subwoofer boxes for a slight gain, i mean slight like .1, .2 db gain.

 

make sure u coat the mdf with protectant. it might rot over time.

 

they WILL rot. mine were pretty badly damaged after only a month so i made new ones that are covered and will not have the same problem again. you will see this the next time you go back into your doors. even just a slight bit of water will damage them.
