Muffler/intake are sound only.

Sway is like night and day from stock
Springs are the next best thing

If you want a short shifter, buy one from doctorisotope.com

I run trd springs, stock struts and a trd rear sway (track setting all the time). MAJOR improvement on handling. Also, get rid of stock tires right away, that is your biggest hinderance to cornering.

If you are not boosted there is no need to throw money away on a performance clutch if you drive the car right.

I've wondered what size tire you could run on those rims.. What do you have on there now?

on stock rims you can run either 215/45-17 or 225/45-17

I run 215 Avon TECH M550s on it. They are all seasons, so not THE tire for autox by any stretch, but hold thier own very well for what they are.. and perform awesome on the street. I will be getting some other rims and some azenis for next season though. Just to have a dedicated track set.

On our rims, 225 would be pushing it really. If you want, you can run 245s on this car without rolling your fenders with the right offset and profile, but you need at minimum 8 inch wheels and preferably 8.5s.

I disagree. I find that the 225s work very well on the stock rims. A lot of people run them, including myself. The tire shop actually recommended it to me when analyzing the rims. The 215s are actually quite narrow for the rims and leave the rims very susceptible to damage by curb rash. I also feel a difference with the 225s that the car is much more secure on the ground with a wider stance. The handling has most definitely improved over 215 tires. Also, there is very little strain in the tire wall from it being held onto the stock rim. By going up to a 235 or 245, there would be a lot of pressure and strain on the tire as it tries to grab the rim, but the 225s sit very comfortably and safely. I feel that scion should have made the car stock with 225s, but then again if I am talking about what scion should have done stock with the tires, the stock yokos and potenzas would not be in the picture lol.

I'm happy you have a new front tie bar but next time put this in the right forum section.

I wasnt saying that 225s dont work, I was saying that they are about the limit for a 7 inch rim. You can also go a little bigger I am sure, but you will take away the advantage of he wider tires due to being on a smaller rim.

Ah, sorry I misunderstood. I agree not to go bigger than 225s, even moreover than losing the advantages, i would be concerned about safety!
