Hey guys, ive read through a majority of the hardwire threads for the radar, but my radar did not come with the T-tap and other things to ahrdwire it. I just need to know what i can get the kit as i dont wanna f*ck it up, thanks guys!

 

Just the T-TAP or the cord too?
Radioshack has T-taps. There not called that, but theyre like 2$ for 4.
Cord, you can get for 8$ on ebay (come with t-tap), or like 15$ on amazon.
You can't f*ck it up, its easy takes 5 mins.
Just make sure you do it in the daylight. I had a spotlight out there took me like an hour because I couldn't see.

 

Whatever their called, but i looked on ebay and i couldnt find nething... i dont have the wire 2 i dont think, i usually plug it into my cig outlet and thats the only wire it came with... can u post a link? thanks

 

what brand name and model of radar u got?
It is very easy to do, if you got the hardwire cable.
I hardwire my Rx 65 while waiting my girlfriend getting out of class.
All i have was a needle-nose plier and electrical tape.

well thankya! i think i know the answer to this ? but, it says on that site to hook it up to the fuse box.. i can just T-tap it to the dome light ( like the DIY) with that kit right?

 

ya, some kits use a fuse that you plug into an open slot in your fuse box, and it'll leave you with a wire to connect to whatever. you can connect it to your dome light, you just need to make sure that you're tapping a constant 12v wire, and not one that only recieves power when the door opens or when the dome light is on.
