Theres a reason that if a kid weighs more than 40 lbs, you gotta set up the car seat with the seat belt going through it and NOT use the restraint bar under the seat.
So unless you weigh more than 40 lbs, DON'T DO IT.

To tie it back down to Takatas, you're suppose to buy the short Takatas, take it to an interior shop, have it cut, burned, sown, etc... That's what I'm planning to once I get time, lol. I've been saying that for awhile though
