Nice! I'm glad I won't be the only one! This should be interesting. Maybe it will be more promising than appears. Fingers are crossed, but not gettin my hopes too high. Daffy, are you gonna get the Navigation upgrade for $60?

i think i'll give it a shot as well. The Prez decided to kick down a one-time payment of $250 to veterans so i've got the extra cash. i was going to build another gaming machine but i have enough already and i need a HU upgrade anyways. i'll let you know how it goes

yeah i noticed it was 300 shipped, but i'm still givin it a shot. like i said, it does have a full year waranty, so by this time next year i can have 1,500 saved up for a new serious unit and shouldn't run into many problems with this unit. definitely just waiting for my direct deposit to post into my account and i'm clickin the submit button lol

I actually got a really good deal on one month used 2008 oem projectors, so i spent just enough of my paycheck to not have enough for the headunit right now. i'll have to wait till probably next friday to buy it. it looks like the deal is good until 6/15 so i should be good on that. the only experience i have was plug and play. just go to a local audio shop and pick up a wiring harness for our car and it should be plug and play from there...

I emailed the company about the GPS Navigation upgrade on this system, to see if it was US based or what, and this was their reply:

"This item comes with the GPS navigation system if upgrade for $60. And it is a GPS navigation system, not included the GPS map software. You need to put your local GPS map software into a SD card and then insert into this item and it will work. This GPS navigation system supports many kinds of map software, such as IGO, ROUTE66, GET5, PAPAG etc. It is very convenient to update your GPS map software by yourself."

Umm, somebody please explain to me what exactly that means, what exactly we would need to get the GPS to work correctly, and approximately how much of an additional cost this would be!

Has anyone actually gone through with this purchase yet, BTW?
