Default has anyone done anything with the climate control buttons?

I see wonderful waterfall mods and everything, but no one does anything with the climate control buttons?

I'm surprised after all these years that isn't the last frontier for customization in the center console. Has anyone done anything with those buttons? And if so, pics?

The only thing that i know of is that guy on here who replaced his while waterfall with that 10.5 inch touchscreen that controls everything from climate to nav. and i have a feeling if he is integrating the climate controls into a touchscreen monitor, he is an engineer, a programmer, or a guy whos super smart with way too much time.
If u want a custom climate control mod then talk to the guy on here with the thread about that monitor, its the only climate control mod ive ever seen

I've seen that thread but after reading it I can't seem to find where he has actually *confirmed* he has integrated the controls into the touchscreen. I recall he said he is working on it, but nothing final yet.

Ouch. There's 24 hours in a day my man, and they are all usable. But I do appreciate the compliments. It was actually the work of 4 different people to get the screen completed: a fabricator, a programmer i hired on Craigslist, a painter, and me for all of the graphics, and programming on the skin.

Actually, I do still have the HVAC controls as a fail-safe in case the computer crashes[the last thing I want to be left without is my AC in Florida.] - me and my fabricator moved them into the top part of the center console - I will try to get an image when I'm back outside. He basically cut out the button faceplate, cut it to sit into the center console, and than molded around it., it fits surprisingly perfect. Like I said I'll try to get an image soon or a video even if I can.

There was one or two on here and a few on Clubsciontc that did it. They all looked like crap. There have been a few people the relocated the HVAC to creative places like the armrest though that looked good.

I had an idea a while ago to try and put them in the arm rest on the door - youd have to build a hard plate for it and inset it in there, but itd be pretty cool.

someone in scikotics had his switched to the center console. I've seen it done on a couple different tcs. I think it would be kinda a PITA to mess with.
