Hello everyone,

This is my first post on these forums. I'm picking up a used Scion this coming Monday. Looking forward to it. Anyhow, the previous owner has the AVN2454 HU already installed. This is about a 2 1/4 yr old unit. I've read some good things about the AVN5435. I think I could buy that and flip the 2454 on Ebay...so I'd be spending $200-300 on the upgrade. Can someone tell me what the differences are between the 2 units? Eclipse web site no longer lists the 2454. Is it worth the upgrade?

Also, I'm considering getting one with Bluetooth as well (models 5510 and 6610). However, I don't think I want to buy that add-on that Eclipse has. I'd rather it be built into the HU. Are there any other manufacturers that have this built in?

The only reason I'm leaning towards a newer Eclipse unit is because I figure the wiring is already all there, so installation would be a cinch. But I'd be open to other HU's if they had the BT option.
